PROJECT SERVICES: CONSULTING, TEAM AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING

PRODUCT: TEAM-BUILDING TRAINING PROGRAM

TOOLS: DiSC ASSESSMENTS, IN-PERSON TRAINING SESSION, TRAINING MATERIALS

OVERVIEW
PeopleCore developed and facilitated trust-building training for over 60 Incident Management team members. In this intense, two-day, highly interactive team development program, we focused on high-stress environments, neuroscience, and building relationships under extreme conditions. This was the first team-building training program to bring all members together after their deployment to several catastrophic local emergencies. It allowed members to reconnect, form new and stronger relationships, and helped them identify their own blind spots and who on their team to leverage when they need backup and support in future emergencies.
THE CHALLENGE
Team members lived across Alberta: geographically dispersed team across different industries. Many team members had not worked together before and we unfamiliar with each other's strengths. Deployed together under very high-stress conditions.
THE APPROACH
Using DiSC, identity personal strengths and blind spots. Showcase talents and identify members who can support you with your areas of growth.
Introduce neuroleadership and gaining buy-in in high stress situations.
THE RESULTS
Increased trust and transparency. Team members improved relationships and built empathy through shared storytelling and collaborative exercises.
The group went home with a comprehensive list of each member's self-identified strengths and areas they can help support others.
CASE TESTIMONIAL
Regardless of the complexity of the learners’ individual needs, Cara will move your organization forward with learning products that far exceed expectations. Her experience in all steps of the learning and training processes is almost impossible to find.
